Chi Kung Retreat
New Zealand 7 – 13 January 2017
"Six hours of meditation and Chi Kung every day for 7 days... I was floating on air (in a very grounded, embodied way) by the end... I don't think I've ever felt so good in my body & so spiritually connected. I've done four day Chi Kung classes before, and always felt great afterwards, but something extra really kicked in on day 5 of the retreat... every aspect of my life started to become infused with an awareness of Chi... I could feel the Chi in the ground beneath me as I walked, and even the most mundane movements, like making a cup of tea, became a ritual of awareness and deep connection to my own body and the environment. Even though I haven't managed to practice as much as I would like since I returned home, I feel as though something has shifted permanently in my being, something I can never lose now that I have experienced such a heightened level of awareness. I am finding it easier to slow down, be mindful and present, without needing to rush around doing multiple things at once. I am much happier just being. Thanks!!
