Equipped with a ceiling-mounted data projector, large whiteboard, and flip chart, it's perfect for conferences or year-end lunches.John Priestley Meeting Room Located downstairs in the main lodge, our smaller room accommodates up to 40 guests depending on setup style. Enjoy panoramic views of our gardens and tranquil surroundings. Equipped with a ceiling-mounted data projector, whiteboard, and flip chart, it's ideal for strategy days and smaller meetings. With easy access to the outside courtyard, it's perfect for larger events in the summer months.Margaret Vaughan Cottage Our intimate meeting area comfortably seats 15, featuring couches for relaxed conversations, tables with seating, and a multifunctional setup. Equipped with a data projector, TV, whiteboard, and flip chart, it also has a kitchenette with tea and coffee available all day. Bi-fold doors open onto the courtyard, offering versatility for various purposes.Clare House Meeting Room Clare House Meeting Room, located at the bottom of the property, offers the ideal setting for smaller groups seeking privacy. With comfortable seating for 6-8 people, it provides access to a kitchenette with tea and coffee available. The bifold doors open onto the deck, offering beautiful views and the soothing sounds of the waves.Ken Forrest Wing This accommodation wing, connected to the main lodge, features four twin rooms, two single rooms, and one ensuite room with a double bed. Closest to the Amphitheatre and Meeting Rooms, it offers accessible showers. Each room includes a desk, chair, lamp, spare blankets, sink, and heater/fan. With doors leading to the external pathway, most rooms boast wonderful views over the center and our rolling lawns.Buckle, Te Haara and Carmichael Accommodation Houses With one twin room and six singles, Buckle, Te Haara, and Carmichael accommodation houses can accommodate up to seven guests each, with full occupency across both twin and single rooms. Shared bathrooms include a toilet and shower. Featuring a central lounge and kitchenette area, perfect for morning coffee, with doors opening onto beautiful gardens. Twin rooms have two single beds, cupboards, desks, and sinks, while single rooms have one single bed with similar amenities. Extra blankets and heaters are provided for colder months, with each room having a door leading to the external gardens.Clare House Clare House, situated at the bottom of the property, accommodates up to seven guests in three twin rooms and one single room. Each wing shares a bathroom with a toilet and shower. Twin rooms offer two single beds and a wardrobe with extra blankets and heaters. Single rooms have similar amenities with one single bed. The house features a unique small meeting room and kitchenette in the center, surrounded by a deck with views of the nearby ocean. Sole use of the meeting room is available when the entire house is rented out.Scholar Studio Our Scholar Studio is located underneath Francis House, at the top of the property. Usually reserved for scholars within our Residency Scholarship Programme, it is also available for rent outside of these occupied months. This is the perfect spot for writing, offering a tranquil environment with minimal distractions.
