The Rev. Joy MacCormick


Joy MacCormick, mother and grandmother, poet and New Zealand Anglican priest has worked in parishes and hospital chaplaincy, spent five years as Priest Assistant at Vaughan Park and has led retreats and quiet days.

She has special concern for those who struggle to reconcile their experience of Holy Mystery with traditional church doctrine and teaching. Now retired and living in Wellington, she continues to offer spiritual direction and supervision and to write. She is author of Moments of Grace (BRF 2013) and is a writer for BRF’s Quiet Spaces reading notes.
