A Celebration of Catholic and Protestant Christian Unity

Fr Chris Skinner SM and Rev. Iain Gow

To be a pilgrim . . .

We are pleased to invite you to our Ecumenical Pilgrimage Day. A bus will leave Vaughan Park for Mercy Spirituality Centre where after morning tea we will hear a talk on “What is Pilgrimage” by Fr Chris Skinner. Pilgrims have often used song to help them on their journey, so Fr Chris will teach us his very own pilgrimage song for use on the next step of the journey. After a quiet time, or walk in the garden we will then embark on the journey by bus to Vaughan Park. Here, after lunch, a presentation on “Pilgrimages Today” will be given by The. Rev. Iain Gow who will share his El Camino experience with us. An ecumenical service of reflection will be held before the bus returns to Mercy Spirituality Centre.
