Gay and Straight together in the Body of Christ

You are invited to share in a day designed for all LGBT Christians and those seeking after God – both those who are members . . .

A day of listening to God: a time of reflection, sharing and prayer in a confidential environment for LGBT Christians as we envisage a church where all gay and straight are fully equal, whether single, partnered or married.

We will explore some of the hurdles the church often puts in the way, theological and practical. We will also encourage one another to know that all are created as God intends us to be, affirms all in whatever our orientation, and blesses our relationships.

The day will end with an informal communion service together. While acknowledging the failings of the church to love all equally, we will major on celebrating the gift that LGBT Christians are to the church: and that love is love!

The day is designed for all LGBT Christians and those seeking after God—both those who are members of churches and those who have not yet found a welcoming fellowship.
