Our street address is 1043 Beach Road, Long Bay, North Shore City, Auckland 0630. In reality we are positioned at the South end of Long Bay Beach in the East Coast Bays. Our tranquil setting overlooks the bay and regional park which includes a number of public facilities.

Transport
Stagecoach
Vaughan Park is immediately opposite the terminus of the Stagecoach routes at Long Bay. Routes 838, 839, 858, 859, 878X all terminate at Long Bay.
Buses depart from Central Auckland in front of the Civic Theatre on the Corner of Queen Street and Wellesley Street West. For routes and times please see the MAXX Website or call MAXX on (09) 366-6400.
Coach Transport
The driveway is not suitable for large coaches. Large coaches need to discharge passengers in the public car park in Beach Road, or by the driveway entrance gates.
Car parking
Car park spaces are provided at Vaughan Park close to the accommodation units. There are spaces specifically reserved for people with ‘Mobility’ cards. There is also a public car park on Beach Road.

Long Bay Regional Park
The Long Bay Regional Park is immediately adjacent to Vaughan Park. The park has many public facilities for picnics and barbecues while affording easy access to Long Bay beach. Coastal walks along the cliff top or across the rocks at low tide give access to the Okura Estuary. The sheltered beach is safe for swimming. Significant parts of the park are available for quiet walks and meditative strolls. The regional park has an extensive children’s playing area with a miniature railway and a kiosk. The ranger station includes an environmental display area.
Oneroa Cliff Top Walk
The path from beside the beach entrance to Vaughan Park leads up to the cliff overlooking the Hauraki Gulf with panoramic views to the gulf islands, Whangaparaoa Peninsular, and beyond. The path is maintained by the North Shore City Council and has a number of seats at vantage points.
Sir Peter Blake Marine Education and Recreation Centre (MERC)
The MERC centre next door to Vaughan Park, offers programmes in sea kayaking, sailing and other water and beach pursuits. Separate arrangements need to be made about participation in MERC programmes. (Telephone - 09 473 0714)
Shops, Chemist, Doctor, Post Centre
The nearest shopping centre is 1km up Beach Road at Torbay and has chemist, doctor, greengrocer, butcher, several takeaways, post shop, general superette, bakery and the like. Supermarkets, coffee bars and major shopping are at Browns Bay (3km to the south) or at Albany (5km to the west). Cinemas are at Wairau Park, Albany, Takapuna and Whangaparaoa.
Parish Church
The parish church of St Mary-by-the-Sea is at Torbay, 1km up Beach Road, on the corner of Deep Creek Road. Service Times and Contact Details are displayed on their website.
