Hikoi Notes - Parnell to Vaughan Park – 30th January 2018

Ferry ticket and dinner included in the $35 registration fee. Gold Card Holders who can access free ferry travel are discounted to $30. Please advise of this status when you register.

Bring own lunch, water and snacks and some cash for coffee.

You will need to arrange your own transport back from Vaughan Park to Parnell. There will be an option to share taxi minivans if participants so wish. Cost around $16pp when sharing.

The terrain we will be walking on is varied – footpaths, beaches, gravel, grass and rocks. Footwear with stiff soles recommended.

Shorts are best for walking. Jeans not recommended especially in wet conditions.

A moderate level of walking fitness is required. Whilst the route is largely flat, there is some undulation over headlands towards the end and the distance at 23 km is significant.
